See you in 2005... THE NEXT ANNUAL CETPA CONFERENCE WILL BE IN SANTA BARBARA.

The plans for our 45th annual CETPA Conference are now being finalized! The Fess Parker Resort is the magnificent setting for the event, with an unparalleled view of the Pacific and easy access to downtown Santa Barbara.

The theme of this year’s Conference - “Transforming Education” - is particularly appropriate given the broad impact technology has made across K-12. Four derivative "pillars" have been defined to give shape and substance to the conference theme. These include:

                   Pillar 1:  Secure & Reliable Infrastructure
                   Pillar 2:  Technology Tools for Education
                   Pillar 3:  Policy and Processes That Impact Educational Technology
                   Pillar 4:  New Learning Environments



We've been working long and hard with our vendors and it looks like we will have a packed exhibit hall. We're also exploring numerous ways for vendors to get more involved, including a top-notch rock-n-roll band to cap off the President's Reception and play into the night.

There will be much networking and many opportunities for the exchanging of ideas with colleagues from around the State and nation.
